The Queen's Own Highlanders - Our Regimental Family
In addition to the regular, territorial and cadet battalions, there was a much bigger regimental family consisting of the Regimental Associations and the allied regiments both at home and abroad. REGIMENTAL ASSOCIATIONS
The Regimental Associations organize reunions and keep in touch with the old comrades who have served in the battalions of the Seaforth, Camerons and Queen's Own Highlanders over the years.

ALLIED REGIMENTS OF THE COMMONWEALTH
The Queen's Own Highlanders were allied to a number of overseas regiments, alongside whom our ancestors have fought in past campaigns. Dates in brackets are when the affiliations were formally approved.

They were also allied to the Royal Ghurkha Regiment, formerly the 7th Battalion (now disbanded) which forms part of the Royal Ghurkha Rifles
