Major General Nick Borton DSO MBE has succeeded Major General Bob Bruce CBE DSO as Colonel of The Royal Regiment of Scotland. In his introductory letter General Nick says: ‘Our task is to continue to deliver the best possible operational output for the Army and the Nation, while protecting and enhancing the proud heritage of our antecedent Regiments. I firmly believe we can do both, and I have always said we can ‘have our cake and eat it’ in the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
